Privacy Policy

Who this policy is about

This website is run by Godin Digital LLC, 72 Moreing Rd, Attadale WA 6156. In this policy, "I" means Nicolas Godin, who runs the business. It explains what personal information the site collects, why, and what you can do about it. It follows the Australian Privacy Principles.

What I collect

• Contact form: your name, email address and message.
• Quote quiz: your answers about the project and your email address.
• Booking a call: your name, email and the time you pick. Calendly collects these, not this site.
• Email and phone: whatever you choose to send me.
• Analytics: anonymous information about how the site is used, such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location (city or country). This does not tell me who you are.

Why I collect it

• To answer your message or quote request.
• To send you the estimate summary and the launch checklist you asked for in the quiz.
• To prepare and run your project if you become a client.
• To see which pages are useful and improve the site.

I don't sell or rent your information, and I don't add you to a mailing list. You only get emails that relate to what you asked for.

Cookies

The site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) to count visits and see how people move through the site. There are no advertising or retargeting cookies.

The booking page embeds Calendly, which may set its own cookies when you use it.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). The site works the same without them.

Who else handles your information

A few providers help run the site. They only receive what they need to do their job:

• Cloudflare hosts the website and may log technical data such as IP addresses for security.
• Supabase runs the code that processes the contact form and the quiz.
• Resend delivers the emails those forms send.
• Google Analytics measures site traffic.
• Calendly handles call bookings.

Information stored outside Australia

Godin Digital is a US company, and the providers above are based in the United States or store data in several countries. Your information may be processed overseas. I only use established providers that publish their own privacy and security commitments.

How long I keep it

Form submissions arrive by email. I keep them as long as I need them to deal with your request, or for business and tax records if you become a client. Ask me and I will delete what I don't have to keep.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it or ask me to delete it. Email me and I will reply within 30 days.

Complaints

If you think I have mishandled your information, contact me first and I will try to fix it. If you are not satisfied with my answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

If the site starts collecting something new, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change.
